WHITE CHICKADEE CHILI
OH MY YUM. I was a little hesitent to try this recipe out. Something about chili never really made my mouth water. Like most things in life, I was highly HIGHLY mistaken. This is by far the yummiest soup I've made yet! I really hope y'all enjoy it! Its perfect for everykind. A chicken lover, a soup lover, a food lover, a lover of love, come one come all.
I bought all of these ingredients at my local HEB, but they can be purchased at any grocery store. My total was only $16.71.
-1 bunch of fresh cilantro $0.28
-1 bulk garlic $0.54
-1 white onion $0.65
-1 lime $0.15
-1 Original flavor rotisserie chicken $6.99
-1 box of HEB brand chicken broth $1.29
-1 pack of White American Cheese (24 slices) $4.98
-1 can Fiesta Corn (corn with red and green bell peppers) $1.25
What I jammed to while cooking:
One of my favorite movies called "The Switch" with the beautiful Jennifer Aniston & Jason Bateman
Ingredients:
-1 tablespoon vegtable oil
-1 rotisserie chicken original flavor
-A couple shakes of drided oragano leaves
-1 large onion chopped
-1 red bell pepper, chopped
-1/2 orange bell pepper, chopped
-3 small cloves garlic, chopped
-4 cups chicken broth
-1 can fiesta corn (corn with red and green peppers)
-12 slices of White American Cheese
-3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
-1 lime, cut into wedges
Directions:

Lets make sure we have all of our ingredients. Wouldn't want to get half way through and need to run to the store.

Start with your oil in a pot on medium heat and get it a little hot. Then pour in your chopped onion and let it sizzle while you chop your bell peppers and garlic.

Next add the bell peppers (orange and red) to the pot, along with your garlic. Stir and let it cook down until your onions look translucent and your little medley is smelling great.

Once everyone in the pot has gotten a chance to meet and greet and get smelling lovely you can add your rotisserie chicken (I stripped it into peices) and a few dashes of oregano.

Next, pour in your chicken broth all at once and then stir. Also pour in your corn and then turn the heat up a little so that it can get to a rapid boil. Once boiling turn the heat to a simmer and let sit for 15 minutes so it can cook down.

Next, turn your heat up to around 5 or 6 and add in your slices of American Cheese. I ripped each square into about four smaller peices so that it could melt faster. Add in your cilantro on top and continue stirring until all the cheese has melted.
